Today, in the 1st of our 2 part series with Tara, we have an amazing talk with Tara and I!

Honestly, the rapport, to joyousness, the open and sweet raw truth of our conversation left me energized and wanting to just keep talking!

A warm spirit full of conscious parenting thoughts and reminders of being yourself, of bringing in your passions and integrating them into daily life with your kids really hit a chord in me! Back in Prague, the most joyous days El and I had was when we just danced, did yoga together and lived life together doing what we BOTH love.

I am all about listening to your own music and showing and experiencing together. I honestly think kids like it even more than the mainstream “expected things” that parents often suffer through.

Thank you Tara for all the incredible reminders!

I also really loved how Tara was soooo real about thinking the National Geographic mail about doing the YOGA ANIMALS book was a joke! Always remember that we are ALL JUST HUMAN and celebrities get excited like the rest of us!.. This warmed my smile, so much. Because from the outside.. Tara is rocking it!

A 2016 report in Harvard Health Publishing showed 37 million Americans practice yoga, an increase of almost 50 percent since 2012, and one out of four people believe “yoga is good for you. More people are turning to the practice of yoga via the internet as social distancing has been in effect. Several studies back up the belief that yoga can help manage health conditions that put people at higher risk of COVID-19 by improving cardiovascular fitness and flexibility and reducing stress, anxiety and pain.
National Geographic Kids has teamed up with celebrated Yoga instructor and author, Tara Stiles in an effort to include the kiddos : Yoga Animals: A Wild Introduction to Kid-Friendly Poses. Stiles was named the “Coolest Yoga Instructor Ever” by Vanity Fair.
